Karisa Gold

Karisa Gold is graduate from the International Academy of Design and Technology with a B.F.A. in Fashion Design and Marketing.  As a student, she worked full-time as 9-1-1 dispatcher and hairstylist while maintaining a full class schedule. Gold feels honored have been Class Salutatorian as well as a member of the Alpha Beta Kappa Honor Society. Through these achievements, Gold can attest that “hard work really does pay off”. This attitude is visually concrete in her meticulously designed 2013 collection.

While one of her great passions is working in PR,  her devotion to design remains constant. “Design in general is the ultimate creative expression for me. However, I have the deepest fondness for designing evening wear.” Gold’s design aesthetic is best described as both feminine and romantic I like to find inspiration in finding the happy medium between dichotomies to create a fusion of contrast and harmony while producing the highest quality work.
