Vasily Vein
Vasily Vein is a founder of Vasily Vein Art Design. He was born in the former Soviet Union and graduated from the Institute of Art in Krasnoyarsk, Russia. While living in Moscow, Vasily created stage images for Russian rock and pop stars — most notably, the Russian Rock Singer LINDA. Vasily had created images for the duet T.A.T.U. most famous for their song, “Not Gonna Get Us.” Vasily has worked also on the set of many Russian TV & movie productions. Vasily’s designs have appeared in various big name magazines such as Marie Claire, Estetica, Playboy, BAYFashion and many others.
The most recent acknowledgment of Vasily Vein’s talent was an invitation for him to participate in the U.S.-Ukraine Gala Celebrations at Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington DC on December 1st 2011. The event was honorably co-chaired by: President George W. Bush and President Leonid M. Kravchuk. Vasily Vein was presenting the woman’s hat made by him using the ties donated to the charity event by President Bill Clinton. All fees from the event went to the orphans in Ukranian town of Slavutich.
Vasily Vein currently resides and works in Sausalito, California. Over the past two years Vasily has participated in many fashion shows in Bay Area and Sacramento.
